As we wrap up 2025, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on how far FlightSense has come and where we're headed next.
FlightSense started with a simple idea: to build an intelligent, aviation-first assistant, Amelia, that could help pilots and instructors navigate the sheer volume of information required in flight training.
As we listened closely to flight schools, instructors, and students, that idea evolved.
Today, FlightSense is a comprehensive, AI-driven learning management system for flight schools—supporting validated training, regulatory compliance, and day-to-day operations in one unified platform.
Validated by the Aviation Community
One of the defining moments of the year was EAA AirVenture Oshkosh.
At the show, we presented "Smarter Flight Training With AI," met with dozens of flight schools and aviation professionals, and demoed both our iOS and web applications.
The conversations we had there helped confirm something we'd believed from the start: modern flight training needs tools built specifically for aviation... not retrofitted from generic software.
Throughout the year, we've worked directly with leading flight schools to shape FlightSense into a system that reflects real operational and regulatory needs.
That momentum carried forward into featured coverage from publications like AIN and Alli.Aero, reinforcing that the industry is ready for more intelligent training infrastructure.
What's Coming in 2026
We're heading into 2026 with focus and momentum.
FlightSense v2.0
In January, we'll be releasing FlightSense v2.0—a major milestone. This update introduces a fully Part 141 aligned admin system, built through months of iteration with early-adopter schools. v2.0 brings student progress tracking, instructor workflows, administrative oversight, and compliance together into a single ecosystem designed for real flight school operations.
Strategic Partnership
Early next year, we'll also be announcing a strategic partnership aimed at closing the gap between flight school operations and training. Together, we're creating a more complete solution that connects business systems with intelligent training—using operational data to unlock deeper insight across programs, while preserving flexibility to integrate with or replace legacy tools.
Richer Training Signals
Looking ahead, we're also investing in new ways to capture richer training signals closer to the flight itself, so insights aren't limited to what happens on the ground.
Thank You
FlightSense exists because of the students, instructors, and school leaders who've trusted us with their time, feedback, and training programs. What we build is directly shaped by your candor and experience.
We're still early. We're committed to continuing this work alongside you in the year ahead.
