Flight schools have been living with a frustrating tradeoff. The tools that keep your schedule running don't do anything to improve your training, and the tools that track training don't connect to anything else. Instructors end up logging the same information in two or three places. Owners piece together a picture of their operation from spreadsheets, paper binders, and gut feel.
That changes today. We're announcing our integration with Sky Schedule, connecting FlightSense's AI-powered training intelligence directly with Sky Schedule's ADS-B flight tracking and scheduling platform.
What the integration actually does
Here's how it works:
An instructor debriefs a lesson in FlightSense. By voice, right on the ramp. Our AI processes that conversation, maps it to the relevant ACS tasks, and generates structured feedback. That training summary then appears in Sky Schedule's Progress view, right alongside the flight's schedule entry, ADS-B route, and aircraft data.
For the first time, training intelligence lives where your operations already happen. No toggling between platforms, no chasing down progress reports, no gaps when leadership needs to see how students are actually doing.
Why this matters for flight schools
Most flight schools run two parallel worlds: operations (scheduling, billing, fleet) and training. They don't talk to each other. That disconnect costs you students. It costs you time. And it makes it harder to grow.
This integration changes that.
For school owners and managers, you get visibility into training outcomes without chasing anyone down. See which students are progressing, catch at-risk students before they fail a checkride, and know how your program is actually performing. When the FSDO walks in, your audit doesn't start with a scramble for records.
For chief instructors, you get training records that don't disappear when a CFI moves on. Stage check readiness based on real data. And you finally see training quality, not just who flew and when. When an owner asks how a student is doing, the answer is already there. No digging, no guesswork.
For instructors, the workflow is simple. Debrief by voice, right on the ramp, wherever works. The training data flows to Sky Schedule automatically. Less admin means more time for the work that actually matters... teaching.
For students, it means knowing exactly where you stand. Whether your instructor changed last week or you're two lessons from a checkride, your progress is visible and continuous.
How to get set up
If you're already using Sky Schedule, adding FlightSense is simple. Enable the integration from the FlightSense Admin Portal, and training summaries start appearing in Sky Schedule automatically.
If you're new to both platforms, even better. Our team handles the full setup during onboarding. No complex configuration, no IT project. You get a modern ops and training stack from day one.
A philosophy, not just a feature
We built this integration because we believe the best technology stacks are made up of tools that are exceptional at one thing and open enough to connect. That's the future we're building toward.
Sky Schedule is excellent at what it does: scheduling, billing, fleet management, ADS-B tracking. FlightSense is excellent at what we do: AI-powered debriefs, training intelligence, Part 141 compliance, student progress tracking. Together, they give flight schools a modern, connected infrastructure that neither could deliver alone.
This is the first integration of many. We're building toward a future where every part of a flight school's operation, from the schedule to the checkride, is connected, intelligent, and easy to manage.
